Sea Kayaking Tours in Clew Bay

After you have completed the Great Western Greenway, your going to be looking for another fantastic way to enjoy the beauty of this area, and a sea kayaking tour is the way to go!

We usually arrange to meet people in Westport, and we drive to the most suitable location in the bay for our trip - depending on wind and tide conditions etc. All launching spots are within 10-15 mins of town.

Group sizes are kept nice and small, and the level of coaching can be as intensive or not as necessary.

We provide wetsuits and paddle jackets, lifejackets etc. (and kayaks & paddles of course!).

Swimming shorts and a thermal top / fleece / tracksuit top are good to wear (avoid cotton- its cold when wet!), and an old pair of runners or sandals that don't mind the mud. A peaked hat and/or a woolly hat would be useful. For a full day trip please bring your favorite sandwich and a drink to enjoy on an uninhabited island.

KAYAK HIRE: We provide half-day (€45) and full-day (€75) guided sea-kayaking trips on Clew Bay, departing from the Westport. All launching spots are within 10-15 minutes of town. Group sizes are kept nice and small, and the level of coaching can be as intensive or not as necessary.
